While everyone is going batshit crazy over Gangnam Style, I am re-discovering The Magician. This is the guy who made Lykke Li’s I Follow Rivers a huge hit last summer.

He has a lot of original stuff as well as remixes, but he is best known for his Magic Tape series:

Finnebassen & ColeCo

FinnebassenI just discovered Finnebassen. This guy is just awesome. Perfect soundtrack for the discerning beachbar-phile.

Current hit:

ColeCo - El Verano EPAlso an excellent Nu-Disco outfit: ColeCo. It appears that these guys are from Canada and usually do pool parties. Go figure. But that doesn’t matter since I friggin’ love their music!!
